The Women of ALPFA (WOA) program was started in 2002 by visionary professional Latinas with a purpose of creating opportunities for professional Latinas and empowering Latinas through leadership skills, training, mentoring and career advancement.

 

The WOA program provides a road map to strengthen leadership and management skills that foster both professional and personal development. What began as a small breakfast at the ALPFA National Convention, has grown to a national program that hosts multiple events in various cities and garners corporate support from a wide range of companies. 

 

In 2014, the WOA summit in San Francisco included participation from the following partners: KPMG, Walmart eCommerce, Kaiser Permanente,  EY, Microsoft, McGladrey, McKesson, Deloitte, Charles Schwab, AeroMexico, Univision, Xero, CIA, PG&E, and Seiler LLP.
